This morning, Molly Toddler and I went to the local Farmer's Market. She enjoys helping me pick out fruit and veggies, and today got to sample her first beignet:
She and I went to a local Mexican restaurant for lunch she could have some of her favorite "sauce" (cheese dip). While there, Molly observed an infomercial for an exercise program with great interest. Then they began showing before and after shots....
Molly: MOM! THAT MAN IS MAKE-ED!
Me: Shhhhh! Sweetie, it's ok. He's got pants on.
Molly: But mom, we don't go make-ed in front of people.
Me: That's true, but he's got a bathing suit on so it's ok.
A few minutes later when they're showing a computer animated woman slimming down.
Molly: MOM! THAT LADY IS MAKE-ED TOO!
And yes, this conversation took place in a very crowed restaurant.
Later, Molly asked for a fruit snack. I am a little proud that this is what she wanted:
After a week of PBS and a very busy day, Molly was quite tired this afternoon. How tired?
FYI: she was wearing three leotards :-p
